Stake.us also offers player-versus-player online poker, something we haven’t seen at any other social casino. You can play no-limit Texas hold’em or pot-limit Omaha for either Gold Coins or Stake Cash, and there are usually dozens of ring games going at any time of day or night. Stake.us also runs multi-table tournaments at a wide variety of buy-ins, and even has freerolls you can play for no cost at all for a chance to win GC or SC.

During our testing of the Stake Poker tables, we found the games run very smoothly and frankly rival what you find at some real money online casinos. The rake is a little high at Stake Poker, but we very much like having the option to play some hands of poker between enjoying the other casino games.

For our review, we tried blackjack and baccarat. Both games worked well and had expressive dealers. The game functions worked as expected, and placing bets and making choices were easy to do. Note that some of the live dealer games have relatively high buy-ins, making them harder to play unless you’ve accumulated more GC or SC.

Does Stake.us have a mobile app?

No. Stake.us doesn’t offer a dedicated iOS or Android sweepstakes casino app. However, you can still play with a mobile device on a mobile browser. This method works just fine, but we massively prefer the desktop version of the social casino.

Stake.us has so much content that it doesn’t translate super well to the small screen of a phone. The website on desktop has an intuitive design and plenty of space for the options and navigation icons to breathe.

Purchases and redemptions at Stake.us

Stake.us offers redemptions of Stake Cash via cryptocurrency. These can be processed using crypto wallets or online wallets that support crypto payments. You must accumulate at least 50 SC to initiate a redemption. The good news is these transactions occur very quickly, which isn’t usually the case at most social casinos when you try to redeem Sweeps Coins for cash or gift cards.

Remember Gold Coins can be purchased (though purchases are never required). Those purchases are also made with crypto, making Stake.us technically a “crypto casino.” Stake Cash, on the other hand, can only be received for free as additions to purchases or via promos and giveaways.

Is Stake.us social casino right for you?

For players who want great games and an excellent user interface, Stake.us is a fantastic option. The social casino has a lot to offer. That said, a few sticking points arise that may be reason enough to try an alternate social casino. First is the 3x playthrough requirement to redeem Stake Cash. Other sites have just a 1x requirement which is easier to meet. That said, you have a great variety of games at Stake.us you can play including some very high RTP (return to player) percentage games among the table games and Stake Originals. Those games can be easier (and less risky) than slots often are when it comes to satisfying a playthrough requirement.

A second potential negative is the lack of a mobile app, but we don’t put much stake (pun intended) in that because very few social casinos have native iOS or Android apps. And frankly, we like the design and functionality of the website so much, we prefer playing there, anyway.

Third, and most important, is the fact that Stake.us only works with cryptocurrency. Its focus on cryptocurrency is a barrier to entry for many players and many new sweepstakes casinos have taken this into account. If you aren’t already invested in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, it could be a hassle to get set up just to play at Stake.us.
